Key Details

• Confidentiality - All matters discussed at the retreat must be kept strictly confidential. The location, our host, and venue must not be shared. We kindly ask for your discretion.
• Transportation - A shuttle will depart from Columbus Circle at 8:30am and depart from the venue at 6pm, arriving back at Columbus Circle at 7pm. (Approximately, 1hr travel time each way)
• Catered Meals - Breakfast, Lunch, and early evening snacks will be provided. There will be plenty of food and drinks!

AgendaThe retreat will center around three panel discussions, featuring a mix of guest speakers and CINGS member led discussions. Each panel will include robust group discussions, fostering member engagement and understanding.1. Cross Border Journey, The entrepreneurial spirit.While not everyone is necessarily an entrepreneur, we all have had to think creatively to find innovative solutions to our challenges. Here we will explore each other’s first hand experiences when it comes to working across US and China.2. Strategic Philanthropy & The Future of CINGS Giving CircleFor those with little philanthropy experience, this is the perfect start to understanding what strategic philanthropy means, and how we could implement through our own Giving Circle initiatives. This is also a great opportunity to bring our respective experiences to brainstorm how we can enhance our impact and evolve a core pillar of CINGS.3. Final Panel to close out the day, TBD - based on survey resultsThis panel will be shaped by members to give a more free flow dialogue or offer members free time to relax and meet each other on their own.
